A Grand Tribute to Atal Ji on His Birth Centenary: Poetry Symposium and Book Launch

On the occasion of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth centenary, Khushhali Foundation will organize a grand event, “Atal Janm Shatabdi Kavyanjali,” at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi, on December 25, 2024.

The event will feature a grand poetry symposium and the launch of two books, “Sanatan Sangh Aur Sanskriti” and “Atal Bharat Ke Atal Mahapurush Atal Ji,” authored by Dr. Bhimsen Singh.

 

New Delhi, 22nd December 2024 : To commemorate the birth centenary of India’s great leader and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Khushhali Foundation will host a grand event, “Atal Janm Shatabdi Kavyanjali,” at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi, on December 25, 2024. This announcement was made during a press conference organized by Khushhali Foundation today at the Constitution Club in Delhi. The conference was addressed by the event’s conceptualizer and coordinator, international poet Gajendra Solanki, Khushihali foundation’s chief patron, Dr. Bhimsen Singh;  president of Khushihali Foundation, Sonu Singh and Dubai-based Non-Resident Indian (NRI), R.K. Mahto. 

The “Atal Janm Shatabdi Kavyanjali” event, organized by Khushhali Foundation and operated by ISKCON, will include a grand poetry symposium and the launch of two books authored by Dr. Bhimsen Singh: “Sanatan Sangh Aur Sanskriti” and “Atal Bharat Ke Atal Mahapurush Atal Ji.” 

Khushhali Foundation’s President, Sonu Singh, announced that the event will feature the esteemed presence of the Honorable Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Om Birla, as the chief guest. Other distinguished personalities attending the event include Geetamanishi Mahamandaleshwar Pujya Gyananand Ji Maharaj, Pujya Swami Chidanand Ji Maharaj, and Uttar Pradesh’s Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh.

 Sonu Singh also declared a special arrangement by Khushhali Foundation under Dr. Bhimsen Singh’s leadership for interested media professionals to travel from Delhi to the Kumbh Mela for Kumbh Snan  and exploration the Maha Kumbh . 

Gajendra Solanki, the poet and event moderator, stated that the event’s grandeur will be enhanced by the participation of renowned literary figures such as Padma Shri Surendra Sharma, Wasim Barelvi, Prof. Ashok Chakradhar, and Dr. Hariom Panwar, who will make the event memorable with their presentations in the grand poetry symposium dedicated to Atal Ji. 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Bhimsen Singh said that this celebration of Atal Ji’s birth centenary is a tribute to his invaluable efforts in shaping a strong and united India. The event aims to uphold his ideals through the powerful medium of poetry and literature. He also mentioned that Atal Ji inspired fearlessness in expressing oneself, and he had the privilege of knowing him closely.  Dr. Singh further remarked that NRIs are spreading the essence of Indian culture and Sanatan philosophy across the globe. On December 25, the foundation will honor 10 such NRIs. 

R.K. Mahto, Chairman of GTC Dubai and a distinguished NRI, emphasized that Indians living across the globe are ambassadors of Indian culture and Sanatan values. “No matter where we live, our roots are in India, and our hearts always belong here,” he said. Mahto expressed gratitude to Khushhali Foundation for giving him the opportunity to be part of this grand event dedicated to Atal Ji, whom he considers a role model. 

Concluding the press conference, Gajendra Solanki thanked the media and said that the event on December 25, dedicated to Atal Ji, will address numerous topics of public interest.
